Adjectives
Adjectives are describing words. In Italian, adjectives usually follow the nouns they are describing. They also change their ending depending on whether they are describing a masculine or a feminine noun and wheher it is a singular or plural. Most adjectives end in "o" in the masculine and this "o" changes to "a" in the feminine:
un vicino simpatico a pleasant neighbor
una ragazza simpatica a nice girl
Adjectives ending is "e" don't change in the feminine:
un bicchiere grande a large glass
una casa grande a large house
To make adjectives plural, you usually change the last letter to "i" in the masculine and to "e" in the feminine. Adjectives ending is "e" change to "i":
i vicini simpatici pleasant neighbor
le ragazze simpatiche pleasant girls
i bicchieri grandi large glasses
le case grandi large houses
